AllyCare

Proactive Night-Time Care That Improves Resident Safety, Sleep and Staff Effectiveness

Know When Residents Need Help - Without Disrupting Their Rest

Overnight care teams want residents to remain safe while preserving uninterrupted sleep. Traditional scheduled checks can unintentionally wake residents and consume valuable staff time.

Ally’s Resident Monitor uses sensors and AI to monitor care home residents when alone in their rooms during the night. The system alerts staff when residents require care, freeing staff from time-consuming regular checks that often wake up sleeping residents.

This creates a safer overnight environment, improves resident sleep quality, and allows care teams to work more efficiently — supporting better outcomes for residents, families, and staff.

Night-Time Care Should Protect Sleep - Not Disrupt It

Overnight care teams must balance resident safety with uninterrupted rest. Routine checks help, but they often wake residents unnecessarily, consume valuable staff time and still miss early warning signs.

Routine checks disrupt sleep

Many residents are woken during scheduled rounds even when no assistance is needed, reducing sleep quality and increasing agitation.

Early signs of risk can be missed

Without continuous awareness, care teams often discover issues only after a fall or incident has occurred.

Staff time is stretched overnight

Care teams must monitor many residents at once, making it difficult to focus attention where it is most needed.

Long-term care homes need a better way to support resident safety while preserving sleep and improving staff efficiency.

How AllyCare Supports Safer, More Restful Nights

AllyCare's AI technology learns to differentiate between resident activity and normal background signals to detect when residents are calling for help, are awake and active, unusually restless, or in discomfort. Care staff simply check alerts on a smartphone, review sensor data, listen to audio samples, and assess whether residents need their assistance.

  • Preserves resident sleep while maintaining safety

Residents rest more peacefully without unnecessary waking, improving comfort, wellbeing, and overnight stability.

  • Provides early awareness when residents may need assistance

Care teams gain visibility into emerging situations so they can respond before incidents occur.

  • Supports proactive, resident-centered care

Staff focus attention where it is needed most, rather than relying solely on fixed routine checks.

  • Helps reduce falls and avoidable hospital transfers

Earlier awareness enables faster response and safer outcomes for residents.

  • Works alongside existing workflows and care systems

AllyCare strengthens overnight care without changing established processes or increased workload.
